About

The first idea for this story came while I, the author, stumbled across a clique for dancers <http://www.cliques.org/dancer>.  I personally love to watch ballet and such, it is very entertaining and very inspiring.  So, the idea to wrap a Hanson into it came to mind.  I didn't know which Hanson at first, since there are so many stories around with them all.  But, mainly the stories I have read and seen run on one Hanson.  And, mainly, that Hanson would be Taylor.  I don't know why we hardly see one about them all, but I guess most authors must feel 'closer' to Taylor than the rest.  I, however, do not.  Yes, Taylor is always a nice person to write about and such, but his personality and the plot to this story just didn't click with me.

So, I thought about it for a little while, and managed to 'toss' Taylor out of the picture for a little while.  No, that does not mean I tossed him out of my mind for the story, but I knew that I couldn't manage this story with him as the main male character.  It just wasn't happening.  That left Zac and Ike.  I thought about it long and hard, and finally noticed that Ike stories were hard to come by.  Zac stories might be the same, but I have seen some very well written ones about Zac.  And, I also have another story <With You> going on with him as the main male character, already.

What did that leave me with? Ike.  At first, I didn't know how well it would go.  Yes, I love Ike just as much as the other two.  But, how many people could rightfully say that they could 'click' with Ike in a matter of seconds? I thought that it would work well, so I started buzzing through ideas for what Ike would be like.  Sweet and humble, or rebelish and bad? Well, no one ever sees Ike as a rebel, and I thought that it would be very hard to write about him that way.  I was obviously stuck with sweet and humble.  Not that it mattered, plot twists are always fun.

Now I had my main man, and the perfect idea.  A leading lady was needed.  That's where names came into play.  I know someone by the name of Krislyn, and I love her name and personality, and voice for that matter, to death.  The girl is wonderful.  Her name is very unique in my book, and I needed something that I haven't seen in any story before.  It was perfect for what I was looking for.  Krislyn was born in my mind, and she soon developed a body and personality of her own.

I've seen a few stories about girls who ran away for whatever reason, and those are nice ideas.  But, I wanted my own idea, and I had one.  Krislyn would be an Asian girl, who was a very good ballet dancer.  Ike would tell their story, and Krislyn would dance her heart out throughout the storyline.  But, I needed the Hanson family in it, too.  So, Zac and Taylor were thrown into the blender running in my mind, and I decided that Zac would have to be the advice-giver, while Taylor would be the one that normally helped Krislyn pick out her music <I don't know how I came up with these things for the others to do.>

Well, I loved the way my story looked on paper, how it flowed, and just the plot itself.  No, it is not pure romance, there are already plently of those stories.  No, it's not plain love, friendship, trust, and what-not, those stories run around a lot.  It is not a teenybopper story, for I am not a little nine year old who wishes that I can marry Isaac one day.  No.  It has all sorts of relationships <Isaac and Krislyn- best friends, Taylor, Zac, and Isaac- wonderful brothers, with their own flaws, and so on>, some horrible things will happen, and maybe even some romance toward the middle and end.  But, you'll have to figure what else goes on with the plot, and twists, by reading...
